In Liquid Sun, a golden sun appears to melt into an endless expanse of deep blue, its warm light dripping toward the depths below. A softly textured sky meets a richly layered horizon, creating a striking contrast between stillness and movement. Subtle variations of cobalt, turquoise, and indigo bring depth to the water, while the unexpected fluidity of the sun introduces a playful, almost surreal quality.
Part of the Space Between Forms collection, Liquid Sun explores the shifting boundaries between what we see and what we imagine. The familiar becomes unexpected as the sun seems to surrender its shape, dissolving into the vastness of the sea. Both peaceful and intriguing, the painting invites us to consider the beauty of transformation and the fleeting moments when light, color, and form become something entirely new.
